Benue State Health Insurance Agency (BNSHIA) has commenced enrolment on her health insurance scheme in the State.
The Agency has enrolled 58,373 vulnerable persons, including 11,691 IDPs and 155 children with disabilities, and they have already started enjoying free health care.
The Agency also commenced the enrolment of the self-employed persons in 2022 and would like to expand the coverage to all residents of the State as mandated by the law establishing the Scheme in the State.
Associations/Organised groups can enrol on the Scheme and well-meaning individuals, such as political office holders and philanthropists, can pay and register any persons or group of persons of their choice.
The benefits package is comprehensive and enrolees enjoy health care from health care facilities of their choice.
